Why Isn’t Clothing More Practical?

We went to Newseum on Saturday.

I saw this vest in the gift shop, and fell in love. I modeled it for Greta. She seemed to share my excitement, but soon came the inevitable, crushing question: “When will you ever wear that?”

Oh dear. Where do I start. Um... tan is better than green. Green you'd look like army. However, tan you'll look like a fisherman.

Actually, the list of items that you need to have handy makes me think that what you really need is a purse. Essentially, with this vest, you'd be wearing a purse.
My husband always acts AMAZED that I'd POSSIBLY need a big purse to carry around, but YOU, Chris, are a man with sense!

Maybe I chose the wrong career. Perhaps I should have been a
photojournalist. Although I think my work with Herbietown sort of makes me
a photojournalist....

S.T. you really made me laugh with that purse comment. I've been in the
market for a man-purse for about 4 years now. Never could find one to my
liking.
