With a child I would recommend moving somewhere where you can save some money. Kids are expensive and you won't always have control over expenses. For example they he may get sick or Greta may decide she wants to work and daycare is expensive. You want to keep your options open.
Also I like that the place in Stamford has a washer and dryer in the unit. Babies create a lot of laundry and having to go to a laundromat is never fun.
Maybe you will have better luck in Brooklyn. Good luck today. When you find the right place for both of you and my future nephew you will know.
